LYPAD in
Peace-Building
Firstly let’s know what Peace Building is.
Peace-building is a process that
facilitates the establishment of durable peace and tries to prevent the
recurrence of violence by addressing root causes and effects of conflict
through reconciliation, institution building, and political as well as
economic transformation.
What LYPAD does?

We advocate on issues that undermines peace and
stability within our country Liberia.
Eg. (Land conflict, religious discrimination,
youth empowerment, equitable distribution of state resources, etc).
Also advocate for Government to create
policies or implement those various laws or policies that are made so as to
calm down those problems mentioned.

We organize programs and projects that deals
with those corrupt elements that emasculates peace and stability in Liberia.
Eg. (Organizing skills training workshops
for vulnerable youths like Drug devotees, Orphans, Disable, Girls, etc.
Also organizing changing minds and attitudes
programs to help eradicate some notions the people have like Mandingo people
not citizens, Krahn man like war, etc.
